LIMESTONE COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) – Two Central Texas game wardens on regimen patrol down below the Lake Mexia spillway caught various fishermen with more than just fish.
The activity wardens “observed drug paraphernalia near the fishing equipment and uncovered the topics to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana,” the Limestone County Sheriff’s Business office explained in a Facebook submit.
The fishermen were taken to the Limestone County Jail with support from a Limestone County deputy and a Office of Community Basic safety trooper, authorities reported.
Michael David Raue, Jr., 35, and Thomas Dewayne Raue, 32, remained in custody Monday billed with possession of a managed material.
Their bonds had been set at $7,500 each.
