Colorado motorists can get the legal rights to marijuana-themed plates.
The Colorado Disability Funding Committee is conducting a license plate auction that finishes April 20. Some of the plates are “HEMP,” “GANJA,” “GREEN,” “BONG,” “HASH,” “INDICA” and “TEGRIDY.”
Prior auctions have included the letter “X,” which offered for $20,000, “5280” for $6,800, and “MCLAREN,” for $6,000.
As of Tuesday morning, bids for this year’s plates have ranged from $440 to $6,440.
A governor-appointed committee works by using the Colorado Incapacity Funding Committee’s revenue to fund disability application guidance and new and progressive thoughts for bettering high quality of everyday living and independence for people today with disabilities.
